Título: Agallas - Galls
Publicado por: golondrinas en Marzo 06, 2009, 22:28:07 pm
Hello,
We spotted this very strange gall on a Brassica plant in the Rambla Seca near the well at 30S 05461 40945. Hopefully Andrés may be able to ID the plant from the seed pods.
At first sight, we thought it was a scorpion!  :o
 Cheers, P&G

It looks like a Diplotaxis.

My dear friends, you know that Almería deserts are a big treasure ... I understand that people has studied here the geology, some about plants, insects, generally about birds or insects... but I also understand that Galls are very shortly studied till this moment.... Any idea?  8)

Kind regards
